Zante island tour by coach
We pick you up at approximately 9.00 am. Our tour starts from Zakynthos town and our first stop is at Bochali where you can enjoy the awesome view of the town.
Later we continue for the Kallinico Winery (one of the oldest of Zakynthos) where you’ll discover the wine making process and you’ll have the chance to try many different types of wine. The traditional wine of Zakynthos is Verdea , dry white wine.
After the wine tasting we start traveling on the western part of the island and we see the traditional villages Kiliomeno, Agios Leontas ,Exo Chora ,Maries.
We stop at Anafonitria’s village where we visit Anafonitria’s monastery (15th century).The patron saint of the island St Dionisios had been the Abbot of this monastery in the 16th century. We are having some more time there for a coffee break.Later we are stopping at a farm house and you have the chance to try the extra virgin olive oil, raisins, honey, local delicacies and do some shopping.
We continue for the photostop above the highlight of Zakynthos, Navagio(Shipwreck beach).There is no access by land there but there’s a viewing platform where you can stand to enjoy the breathtaking view of this amazing beach!!
Later we are leaving the northwestern part and we are heading for the northeastern part of Zakynthos. We are going to St Nicholas port, a very picturesque place, where we have a long stop for our lunch break and time for the visit to the Blue Caves with small boats(optional).
After this last stop we travel on the eastern part ,along the beautiful coasts of Zakynthos and we bring you back to the resorts at approximately 17.00pm.
Olympia
Ancient Olympia, where the very first Olympic Games took place, is located 19 km east of Pirgos, surrounded by the hill Chronos and the rivers Alfios and Kladdeos.
The first time the Olympic Games were mentioned was in 776 B.C.
The games lasted over 1200 years until 393 A. D. when the Byzanthian emperor Theodosios I prohibited them.Centuries after the French historian Pierre de Coubertin revived the Olympics in 1896 in their home country, Greece.
Since then every 4 years the “Olympic Flame” is lit in Olympia and brought to the venue by the ‘Torch-run”.We pick you up at approx. 7.00 a.m. and bring you to the harbour of Zakynthos-town. At 8.00 a.m. the ferryboat leaves for Kyllini.
From Kyllini, passing Pirgos, we go straight to Olympia. There the professional guide of Olympia will guide you through the archeological site, the place where the ancient Greeks gathered to celebrate and worship their gods. A lot of ruins and columns of the temples of the Olympian gods have survived over thousands of years. When you see them you will be able to admire the famous ancient Greek architecture.
Then you have a lot of time to visit with our guide the new museum, where you can see the wonderful statues and ancient weapons and tool, which have been found at the archeological area.
Afterwards the coach will bring you to the today’s village of Olympia, where you can have lunch or buy souvenirs, books etc.
We will leave Olympia at approx. 3.45 p.m. Before we leave to take the ferry, we will visit the beautiful fortress of Killini.
You will be back in your resort at approx.7.30 p.m.

Zante Jeep safari
he trip starts at about 8.00 in the morning with your pickup from your resorts, according to the schedule, which is given by the tourist offices. Agia Marina is the first place where we meet up to give you the latest details about the trip.
Driving mostly off the road to the north our first stop over is Antennas, the highest point of the island where you get the chance to enjoy the magnificent view and take photos as well…Passing from Gyri, Louha is the next place to visit with few but so friendly people, ideal for the short rest for coffee.
Our next stop over is the Yperagathos Monastery, one of the oldest in Greece, built in the 16th century.
As the day goes on we are in Kampi, a unique place for lunch and relax around the pool in a family-friendly restaurant.Please note that lunch is not included…
We also see Anafonitria, another traditional village with shops full of souvenirs and local products. And then – one of the most famous sights around the world: Shipwreck, a magnificent view of the deep blue of the Ionian will make you feel happy for having chosen this trip!
The last stop over in Makris Gialos will give you one more chance to enjoy the clear green sea and the sandy Beach. You can also book with one of the boats to visit the Blue Caves if the weather allows – that is an extra charge.

Smugglers Cove: If there’s one place you can’t miss in Zante, it’s Smuggler’s Cove. An arc of sand framed by white cliffs and accessible only by boat, it fronts many Zante postcards. And for good reason – it’s spectacular and home to a massive shipwreck, which ran aground in 1982. On this morning trip, you’ll take a boat from nearby Port Vromi and have plenty of time to relax and take in its beauty. Peek around the wreck, swim in the crystal waters or lounge on the sand admiring the scenery. Your trip is timed to avoid the busiest part of the day when the other larger boats carrying literally hundreds of people arrive. The Secrets of Zante: This award-winning trip rolls out all the best bits of Zante in one day. Travelling by coach through olive groves and hills, you’ll start at Katastari, soaking up the views across to Kefalonia and mainland Greece. Then hop on a boat to cruise around the famous Blue Caves. The star of these caves is the ‘Blue Grotto’, which is named after its dazzling blue waters. After that, it’s on to the area of Volimes for some souvenir shopping before making your way to the monastery at Anafonitria. This half-ruined 14th century monastery was once a refuge for Zante’s patron saint, Dionysios. After lunch in Anafonitria village, we’ll drive to Macherado to see its church – famous for its Venetian belfry. Lastly, you’ll call at an olive oil factory before heading for a hillside which gives fantastic views over Zante Town. Not included: Drinks, Meal, EquipmentTurtle Island Tour: Join us as we cruise Zante’s waters in search of its most famous residents – The Loggerhead Turtles or ‘Caretta-Caretta’. These graceful creatures have been nesting on Zante’s beaches for thousands of years. But sadly, they’re now an endangered species. You’ll start by sailing to Marathonisi – a pine-covered islet nicknamed ‘Turtle Island’. The reason’s simple – one of its beaches is a favourite turtle-nesting site. Look out for these enchanting creatures and watch for dolphins, too – the seas here are home to loads marine life. You’ll also drop anchor at Marathonisi, so you can take a swim and snorkel. After that, you’ll cruise to the Keri peninsula, passing its sea caves and lighthouse for some great photos. Speed freaks can brave the Black Hole, shoot through the Sinkhole, and whizz down the Kamikaze slides. If you’d rather relax, you can float down the Lazy River or laze on a sunlounger. There are play areas for younger kids, and bars and cafés, too.
